Saturday 2nd November, 9.30am - Corner of Thornton Road & Victoria Road Cambridge SH1B (opposite St Andrew's Church), Cambridge.
Over the past 3 years the Armistice in Cambridge committee & Cambridge Community Board have been working on a large sculpture designed by renowned artist Fred Graham, depicting the sister city relationship between Cambridge and Le Quesnoy in Northern France.
The beautiful sculpture is to commemorate the 100 years since WW1 and the special relationship we have with Le Quesnoy, with NZ soldiers liberating the town on the 4th November 1918. The sculpture was funded with the help of a NZ Lottery Grant for WW1 Commemorations
