Join the Cambridge-Le Quesnoy sister city committee in a mid-winter light-hearted French day, as we celebrate Cambridge’s French connection with Le Quesnoy.
We invite all of Cambridge to go French for the day, with French activities, food and fun. There’s free French activities for kids downtown on the day. There will be shops that will go French for the day, with some cafes and restaurants joining in too.
The Bonjour Bastille Day stall will be set up 10am-12noon outside the BNZ at the Lions Trash n Treasure market. There will be free French-themed activities, giveaways, and music from the Cambridge Brass Band. There will be giveaways for completing a quiz, for being best French-dressed, and for correctly pronouncing the name of our sister city “Le Quesnoy”.
